Primus Primary School – Meeting

The Happiness-Making Machine, which appears in the first part of the Saltamontes Chronicles trilogy, was the inspiration for some amazing artworks that I had the pleasure to see at Primus Primary School in Szczecin. A session I had with the children and their teachers, in particular Karolina Wajszczuk, whose love for children, positive energy and charm are infectious, resulted in a creative discussion on writing and life generally. The kids were amazingly mature and expressive and the session was full of kind words and a lovely atmosphere, which all made it very hard for me to leave. I was only too happy to accept another invitation to visit and I just can’t wait to go. And the gorgeous flowers on my desk have certainly brightened up my day!
