A meeting in Reptowo

I would very much like to thank Aldona Wrońska – Wołczyk and the children for inviting me to their school in Reptowo. It was one of those meetings I am sure to remember, not only because of the setting, wonderful welcome and warm words, but also due to the children’s extraordinary knowledge of my book “The Saltamontes Chronicles – Escape from Darkness”, a lovely film of the pupils talking about the plot, fantastic home-made “happiness machines” inspired by the novel, and understanding of the characters. The questions were endless, and the joy from the meeting as great as the heart that Ms Wrońska – Wołczyk puts into her work to instill a love of literature in the children.
