It’s rare to have a meeting where everyone (absolutely everyone!) has read my books. Sometimes, people come to author events out of simple curiosity. But today was completely different. EVERY child knew the first part of the trilogy, and most had read the second part !!! And they’re very eager to start getting into the third. I won’t beat about the bush: I just love the atmosphere when we talk in a common language and notice similar details. Today’s meeting was the last of this school year, so in a sense it was also the culmination of many of the sessions that I’ve held over the last few months. And it took place at Primary School No. 59 in Szczecin. Many thanks to Edyta Michnik for the invitation and bravo to the children – their knowledge of the novel and attention to the details delighted me to the extent you could have knocked me down with a feather. It was lovely!
