London. The Book Fair. A world of publishers and stories from across the globe.
This year, my books were also part of this space: the Saltamontes Chronicles trilogy and my latest title Fairy Tales. From the Breath of the Earth and the Whisper of the Stars, presented at the stand of the Polish Book Institute during the London Book Fair, which took place on March 10–12, 2026.
The London Book Fair is one of the most important events in the global publishing industry. Each year, publishers, literary agents, translators, film producers, distributors, and creators from dozens of countries meet there. It is a place where books are not only presented, but above all where discussions take place about translation rights, film adaptations, new markets, and the future directions of literature. It is there that many stories begin their international journey.
The presence of my books in such a space is particularly meaningful to me. The London Book Fair is primarily focused on rights trading and building international relationships. It is not an event aimed solely at readers, but above all at professionals who decide which books reach new countries and cultures. That is why every title presented there opens real possibilities for translations, collaborations, and presence in foreign markets.
My books were presented at the stand of the Polish Book Institute, which for years has supported the promotion of Polish literature worldwide and helps build bridges between authors and international publishers. It is a space where literature from Poland enters the international circulation — into conversations, catalogues, meetings, and future publishing plans.
For me, this is also a symbolic moment. Stories created from the need to speak about values, relationships, dreams, and hope found their place among books from around the world.
